MIT 2023 STUDENTS ELECTIONS
At MIT we want nothing but the very best for our students. That is why we have MITSU (Machakos Institute of Technology Students Union) an active student union that elects their leaders democratically, every year since the college inception in 2008.
The students’ voice remains important at MIT.
Apart from them representing and being the link between the whole student body at MIT and management it gives us an opportunity to tailor and train tomorrow’s leaders. We nurture solution providers for the job market and nation at large.
It is easy to complain and criticize, so we consciously nurture people who will identify problems and also give idea as to solving the challenges in an objective manner.
The MITSU leaders were sworn in and trained on effective leadership skills before they assumed office.
This year’s elections were successfully conducted on 10th of February 2023.
We even had Fagilia TV covering this democratic process, as seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g1C32FxFBQ
