CSW 200: Certificate in Social Work and Welfare


This is a one year course, whose objective is to equip students with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them assist the Communities to identify their Development concerns and stimulate fresh thinking processes at the grassroot level to enable communities transform themselves consciously and fundamentally into more capable managers of their lives

CSW 209: Law in Community Development
CSW 210: Proposal Writing and Fundraising skills
CSW 211: Introduction to Management skills
CSW 212: Computer Skills
CSW 213: Field practicum and report

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum qualifications are KCSE D+, D plain or KCE Div. 3
  • Course open to Beginners, Community development workers, Welfare officers and fresh students
