MIT IS SPORTS POWER HOUSE IN MACHAKOS TOWN

Machakos Institute of Technology embraces extracurricular activities as a way of making academic life enjoyable.

The following are some of the most treasured extracurricular activities undertaken by MIT students as well as the staff:-

9. Athletics/ truck games.

MIT organizes a sports day every term whereby the various schools compete. The winners are rewarded with trophies and other individualized presents depending on the activities performed.

MIT also participates in inter-colleges sports whereby the MIT soccer team has remained unbeaten. In recent Matches played with Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and Machakos Technical Training Institute (MTTI), Machakos Institute of Technology (MIT) beat the two institutions hands down.
