Machakos Institute of Technology has very well established clubs and societies, which enable our students to discover their talents and better them.

The following are some of the well established clubs and societies in MIT which have received enormous membership including MIT students, teaching and non teaching staff.

  • MIT Drama club.
  • MIT Debate club.
  • MIT Christian Union (CU) – (Headed By Mr. Amani).
  • MIT YCS. (Headed by Mr. Masesi)
  • MIT Muslim Students Association (Headed by Mr. Noor)

MIT Drama club plays a pivotal role of organizing for MIT talent shows and the beauty pageant once in a year. The best performers are rewarded with presents and some benefit from the partial MIT scholarships, out of  their ability to demonstrate very unique talents.
