CSW 200: CERTIFICATE IN SOCIAL WORK AND WELFARE

 

This is a one year course, whose objective is to equip students with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them assist the Communities to identify their Development concerns and stimulate fresh thinking processes at the grassroot level to enable communities transform themselves consciously and fundamentally into more capable managers of their lives

CSW 205: Social Research Methods
CSW 206: Basic Principles in Project Planning and Development
CSW 207: Human Growth and Development
CSW 208: Sociology
CSW 209: Law and Society
CSW 210: Advocacy and Lobbying
CSW 211: Counseling Skills
CSW 212: Computer Skills
CSW 213: Field practicum

QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Minimum qualifications are KCSE D+, D plain or KCE Div. 3
• Course open to Beginners, Community development workers, Welfare officers and fresh students
